Postpartum pelvic floor muscle training diagram

Pregnancy and childbirth are the inevitable process in every woman's life. With the improvement of social civilization level and quality of life, women are more concerned about the consistency of their mind and body. Although having a baby puts a lot of energy into raising the baby, for mothers, especially many young mothers, how to have a high-quality life after having a baby seems to be very important.

What are the methods of pelvic floor exercise?

Kegel exercise

1. Proper identification of pelvic repair groups

1. Place your ring finger and middle thumb on the female vagina. When you contract the anus, you will feel pressure around your fingers, which means the appropriate muscle groups are contracted.

2. Contract the pelvis when urinating. If the urine stream stops when you contract it and continues to flow out when you release the pressure, it also indicates that the appropriate muscle groups are contracted.

3. Try to minimize the contraction of other muscles when contracting the pelvic repair group, such as the thigh roots, back and waist muscles.

2. Develop a personalized training plan

The intensity and time of the exercise can be gradually increased. At the beginning, contract the urethra, anus and perineum for 3 to 10 seconds each time, then release the pressure, repeat the above postures at intervals of 5 to 10 seconds, continue for 5 minutes, twice a day, and then gradually increase the amount of exercise. The training time should last at least 8 to 10 weeks. If you persist in training for 3 months after giving birth, you will receive ideal results.

Transcranial Magnetic Training (Biofeedback)

It is also an active way of pelvic floor rehabilitation. It uses electronic transcranial magnetic therapy in the female vagina or duodenum to monitor the myoelectric activity of the pelvic floor repair. It can also detect the waist muscle activity and detrusor muscle activity, and convert the information of these muscle activities into auditory and visual signals to feedback to the patient, so as to guide the patient to carry out appropriate and independent pelvic floor repair group training. The treatment period is generally 2 to 3 months. At the beginning of treatment, pelvic reconstructive electrical and pressure tests are performed and a suitable exercise plan is developed. Perform short-term pelvic contraction and relaxation exercises 2 to 3 times a week for one month. After one month of treatment, the pelvic recovery electricity and pressure tests were carried out again, and the training plan was changed appropriately. During the treatment in the hospital, a detailed "homework" was formulated, that is, according to the results of each test, the duration, intensity and frequency of exercise at home were guided.
