First menstrual period color

First menstrual period color

Girls will start menstruating during puberty. The first menstruation will be quite painful and the amount of menstrual flow will be less. It is normal for the menstrual cycle to be irregular, so mothers should tell girls how to take good care of themselves during menstruation. When you have your first menstrual period, the color will be dark red, and your breasts will begin to develop and last longer, so you need to pay more attention to rest.

When a girl has her first menstruation, the color is between dark red and bright red. Because the endometrium is affected by estrogen for a long time before menarche, many girls have a heavier menstrual flow for the first time, which lasts for 7 days or more. During menstruation, there may be varying degrees of lower abdominal pain, which is all normal.

Signs of first menstruation

1. Breast budding, mammary glands and fat tissue forming button-sized bulges, nipples starting to grow larger, areola expanding to form areola swelling, and nipples and areola deepening in color, indicating that the first menstruation is not far away. Generally, menarche will occur two years after breast development, and the breasts and areola will continue to develop after menarche.

2. Armpit and pubic hair: The pubic hair will grow thicker and thicker, especially around the vagina.

3. Vaginal discharge, which is also the most obvious sign of menstruation. At the beginning, there will be discharge on your underwear, like a kiss mark. It is white at first, but after a while, it will be brown, which means that the vaginal discharge is mixed with some blood, and it may really be coming!

4. Stomach cramps, headaches, and mood swings are also signs that the first period is about to come.

Now everyone should know what the color of the first menstrual period means! Girls must take good care of themselves during menstruation. Of course, they should also pay attention to their bodies when they are not menstruating. If they do not protect their bodies well, they may have some adverse reactions during menstruation, such as dysmenorrhea, which is very torturous, so girls should pay more attention.
