1. Overview

The tape measure should be close to the scalp (if there is too much hair, push it aside), and go around the highest point of the occipital tubercle and the upper edge of the eyebrow arch on the other side back to the 0 point. This is the length of the head circumference.

3. Fetal head circumference

The fetal head circumference refers to the maximum length around the fetal head. The longest part of the fetal head from front to back is usually the distance from the "root of the nose at the forehead" to the "occipital protuberance at the back of the head". Therefore, the general head circumference is the length around the "root of the nose at the forehead" to the "occipital protuberance at the back of the head".

4. The normal head circumference of a woman is about 45 to 55 cm. The size of the head is not measured, but determined by whether the size of the head matches the width of your body.
