Yin deficiency and blood heat type: Women of this type usually have menstrual periods lasting eight to ten days, with scanty menstrual flow, red menstrual color, thick menstrual fluid, or symptoms such as thirst, red cheeks, hot palms and soles, red tongue, less tongue coating, and a thin and rapid pulse. In terms of methods of regulating menstruation, it is advisable to nourish yin, clear away heat and stop bleeding.
