What are the clinical manifestations of lobular hyperplasia?

Usually, due to many reasons, women often experience pain, swelling and other discomfort in their breasts. This is most likely caused by lobular hyperplasia. Breast hyperplasia is a relatively common breast disease, most of which is caused by excessive estrogen levels in the body. There are usually some more obvious manifestations. Let’s take a look at some common manifestations of lobular hyperplasia in women.

Proliferative breast lesions are the most common and are generally believed to be caused by the proliferation of breast parenchyma and stroma due to excessively high estrogen levels, relatively low progesterone levels, or excessive estrogen receptors in breast epithelial cells. Lobular hyperplasia is a common type of breast proliferative lesion, which is more common in women of childbearing age. Its occurrence is related to the secretion state of the ovaries.

The clinical manifestations of lobular hyperplasia are mainly lamellar thickening of local breast tissue or diffuse granular thickening areas with unclear boundaries, mild tenderness, and are often accompanied by breast pain related to the menstrual cycle. Gross observation shows that lobular hyperplasia is mostly a solitary mass with unclear boundaries, no capsule, and a grayish, rough, and tough cross-section. Microscopic observation shows an increase in the number of lobules, with more than 5 lobules in each low-power field of view, an increase in the volume of the lobules, an increase in the number of ducts or alveoli within the lobules, with more than 30 ducts or alveoli in the enlarged lobules, and the ductal or acinar epithelial cells may proliferate in multiple layers. .

Unlike alveolar adenosis, the number of lobular hyperplasia increases, the size increases, and the arrangement is dense, but the boundaries of the lobules are very clear, the outlines of the lobules are basically preserved, and the stroma within the lobules is normal loose connective tissue. In alveolar adenosis, the lobules are deformed, adjacent diseased lobules fuse with each other, the boundaries of the lobule contours are unclear, and the interstitial fibrous tissue within the lobules proliferates, losing its original loose state.

Normally, there are many reasons for young women to suffer from lobular hyperplasia. If female friends are under too much stress and depressed for a long time, it is likely that the stagnant energy in the body will be difficult to resolve, and it will be deposited in the breast, increasing the possibility of suffering from lobular hyperplasia. Therefore, it is best for female friends to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and try to do some physical exercise.
