What’s wrong with women’s yellow leucorrhea?

Leucorrhea is a vaginal discharge that is unique to women. It is a very normal physiological phenomenon, which is the result of the combined effects of women's special physiological structure and hormones in the body. However, abnormal leucorrhea is also very common, and yellow leucorrhea is probably the most common one. So why do women have yellow leucorrhea? What exactly causes it? How should women identify yellow leucorrhea as a disease?

Yellow leucorrhea is a warning to women's health: Yellow leucorrhea is often a sign of reproductive tract infection, usually bacterial infection. Common ones include vaginitis, cervicitis, endometritis, and acute or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

Red vaginal discharge: Red vaginal discharge is often a sign of genital tract bleeding. The redder the color and the larger the amount, the more severe the bleeding. If young women have red vaginal discharge, it is mostly caused by infection or trauma; if older women have red vaginal discharge, in addition to infection, they should also consider malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer.

Yellow-green vaginal discharge: People with vaginal trichomoniasis often have yellow-green or gray-green vaginal discharge, and the secretions are foamy. These patients also have severe vulvar itching and burning. Normal leucorrhea maintains a certain viscosity. During ovulation or pregnancy, the discharge is often thin and clear, and can be pulled into long threads.

Abnormal leucorrhea and yellow leucorrhea are usually a sign of genital tract inflammation. Married women generally have a higher chance of being infected, which is largely related to their frequent sexual life. The man does not wash his hands when caressing with his hands, and his nails are too long to harbor dirt; both parties or one of them does not pay attention to cleaning the lower body before intercourse, especially the man has poor hygiene habits, the man suffers from phimosis or foreskin is too long, and he is lazy to urinate and clean after intercourse, etc., which are all important reasons for abnormal leucorrhea in women.

Women's health issues deserve more attention and investment. Modern women are under increasing pressure from various aspects, and their health is also threatened. Abnormal leucorrhea is not a serious condition and almost everyone will encounter it. As long as you keep your vagina and anus clean, there will generally be no major problems.
