What are the dangers of breast lipoma

In today's society, tumors have become a major killer of health. Tumors are constantly threatening our physical health and endangering our family happiness. Especially female friends, we must pay attention to breast lipoma. In fact, breast lipoma is a benign tumor, most of which are found under the skin. Here, we solemnly tell you that breast lipoma is not scary. If you understand the cause and receive early treatment, your health will be perfect again.

Generally speaking, even complex lipomas are not harmful to the body. Smaller lipomas grow slowly and generally require no treatment. There are many ways to treat lipomas. For small lipomas, micro-incision laser excision and lobular removal are generally used.

Larger lipomas are removed through incisions selected according to their location. Laser removal of lipomas is extremely convenient. Breast lipoma is the most common benign tumor on the body surface. It can occur in any structure with adipose tissue, but is most common on the body surface and in the breast. It mostly occurs in obese female patients, and the age of onset is mostly between 30 and 50 years old. The main manifestation is a single, round or lobed soft mass with clear boundaries and slow growth. Malignant transformation rarely occurs and treatment is mainly surgical resection. However, the surgery should be thorough; if there is any residue, it will inevitably cause recurrence. The resected tissue should be sent for pathological examination to avoid missed diagnosis due to the combination of other tumors.

Lipoma is a tumor of normal adipose tissue and is the most common benign soft tissue tumor. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, and the incidence rate in men is slightly higher than that in women. It often occurs on the trunk, limbs and abdominal cavity. Most of them are solitary, a few are multiple, with clear boundaries, lobed shape, soft texture, may have a pseudocystic feeling, are painless, grow slowly, most are small in size, and a few can reach 50-60 cm in diameter. The tumor is composed of differentiated and mature fat cells, and the tumor tissue is divided into fat lobules of varying sizes by varying amounts of fibrous cords.

If there are more fibrous components, it is called fibrolipoma; if there are rich blood vessels, it is called angiolipoma. A single subcutaneous lipoma can be surgically removed if it causes movement dysfunction; multiple small lipomas do not need to be treated because they are self-limited and may even disappear on their own; deep lipomas may become malignant, that is, they may become liposarcoma, so they need to be closely observed and regularly reviewed by B-ultrasound. If the tumor proliferates rapidly or compression symptoms occur, it should be surgically removed and pathologically examined; if it has turned into a liposarcoma, chemotherapy or radiotherapy should be considered after surgery to improve the cure rate.

Above, we have a detailed understanding of the appearance characteristics of lipoma, especially female breast lipoma. To ensure health, prevention is the key. However, with the current level of medical technology, even if you have a lipoma, it is not a terrible thing. Early detection, early medical treatment and early treatment can completely solve this problem.
