Ovulation temperature measurement method

Ovulation temperature measurement method

For mothers who are already pregnant, they have tried many methods to increase the chance of pregnancy when they were not pregnant. Some women will succeed within a few months, while others cannot succeed in getting pregnant. A method that aims to achieve pregnancy by measuring a woman's body temperature during ovulation and looking for patterns in the records of these measurements is becoming popular.

This method is measured through basal body temperature, which refers to the body temperature measured when a person wakes up after a long period of sleep and before any activity. The basal body temperature of normal women of childbearing age changes cyclically, just like the menstrual cycle. This change in body temperature is associated with ovulation. Under normal circumstances, a woman's basal body temperature is lower before ovulation and rises after ovulation.

Record the basal body temperature measured every day on a temperature record sheet and connect them into a curve. You can see that the body temperature is lower in the first half of the menstruation and rises in the second half of the menstruation. This temperature curve with low temperature at the beginning and high temperature at the end is called a biphasic temperature curve, which means that the ovaries have ovulated, and ovulation generally occurs before the body temperature rises or in the process of rising from low to high. This problem can be solved if the calendar method and cervical mucus observation method are combined. Generally, basal body temperature needs to be measured continuously for more than three menstrual cycles to explain the problem.

According to this method, you can start measuring body temperature during ovulation. You must record your body temperature regularly. If a woman with a normal menstrual cycle suddenly stops menstruating, her basal body temperature will rise instead of falling and last for a period of time, which means she is pregnant. Women can choose the time to have sex based on their ovulation temperature measurement method, which is very helpful for a successful pregnancy.
