What are the issues that need to be paid attention to before preparing for pregnancy?

The arrival of a child is filled with joy. He makes a family more complete and parents' love more selfless. Similarly, parents also have to make a lot of preparations for the arrival of this child, because whether the child is healthy depends on the physical condition of the parents. Let’s take a look at what parents need to prepare.

1. Choose age: The best childbearing age for women is 23-29, and the best childbearing age for men is over 30 years old.

2. Physical examination: Check whether there are any family genetic diseases and go to the hospital for a pre-pregnancy check-up (most hospitals have packages), usually one year in advance.

3. Plan the delivery date: Choose a good month and constellation for the baby's birth. Generally, it is planned to get pregnant in July, August, or September, and give birth in March, April, or May of the following year. The expected date of delivery is the number of months from the last menstrual period plus 9 (or minus 3), and the number of days plus 7. The last menstrual period was December 1, 2012, and the expected date of delivery is September 7, 2013. A full-term pregnancy is about 280 days (about 40 weeks), and it is normal to give birth within two weeks before or after the expected date of delivery. The reason is to avoid problems such as influenza during pregnancy. After giving birth, it is spring and flowers are blooming. Fruits are on the market one after another, which is helpful for the recovery of the mother. The baby can also go out to bask in the sun after one month, supplement vitamin D and promote calcium absorption!

4. Dad quits smoking and drinking, and mom takes folic acid supplements or multivitamins if conditions permit. Some fathers also take folic acid supplements, usually half a year in advance.

5. Ovulation measurement: This is the most critical step for eugenics and good parenting. It is a necessary step when there is a gender preference (generally, having sex on the day of ovulation tends to give birth to a boy). It is usually done three or four days before ovulation, and the ovulation date can be roughly calculated in the first two months. This requires persistence!

It turns out that before a baby comes, his parents need to make so many preparations. It can be seen that having a healthy baby is the common wish of parents, and the baby's health is the parents' greatest wish in this life. Even though they have to make so much preparation before that, parents will never give up.
