Is a gynecological examination painful?

I am sure everyone has heard of colposcopy. It is mainly to help female friends observe whether there are any changes in the cervix and vagina. However, before the examination, we have to do a vaginal smear first, and before the examination, everyone can't have sex. After the examination, female friends need to clean their vagina. Some people may have heard that colposcopy is very painful, and we also know that women are delicate, so many women are very afraid of pain and even afraid to do it.

Is colposcopy and biopsy painful?

This type of examination is mainly to determine whether there are any changes in the cervix and private parts of female friends. We can find many small fleshy particles that are invisible to the naked eye. Whether this type of examination is painful or not requires the actual operation skills of the hospital. If the doctor's experience is not very rich, the force may be relatively large, so the patient will feel very painful. If the doctor is experienced, the amplitude will be just right and the patient will not feel any pain. In fact, the pain will subside after a while, so don't think that this may make you a leader and resist this inspection method.

Generally speaking, gynecological examinations include the following:

1) Gynecological internal examination: mainly to examine the private tissues, cervical tissues and pelvic tissues of female friends, so as to diagnose whether there are inflammations and tumors in these areas.

2) Examination methods such as cervical scraping can actually help female friends eliminate symptoms such as vaginitis and cervicitis, and gynecological internal diagnosis is more accurate.

3) Cervical acid-fast staining: It can mainly help female friends to distinguish whether the secretion is abnormal. For example, if the secretion is light yellow or has a strong odor, it can be diagnosed through this inspection method.

4) Infrared sensing breast examination: Infrared sensing non-destructive testing technology can help female friends understand the condition of their breasts, and can also reasonably diagnose the characteristics of bilateral breast lumps and screen for breast cancer.

5) Ultrasound (breast): With ultrasound detection technology, we can immediately grasp the condition of the breast and diagnose whether women have breast hyperplasia, breast cysts and other symptoms.

If the doctor is not very experienced, there may be a little pain. If the doctor is experienced, it will not hurt at all. Even if it hurts, don't resist the operation, because many diseases can be diagnosed through colposcopy. If the symptoms develop further due to not doing this examination, you will lose the big picture.
