Location map of female lower abdomen

The orientation diagram of the female lower abdominal appendages. The appendages commonly referred to are the uterus, ovaries and bilateral fallopian tubes, which are divided into the upper and lower sides and grow at the uterine corners on both sides of the uterus. The uterus is located in the middle of the pelvis at the lowest point. The bilateral fallopian tubes extend out from the uterine horns, and the internal cavities communicate with the uterus. From the uterine horn to the outside, there are the interstitial part, muscle wall, ampulla and fimbria, which can collect oocytes.

The uterus and ovaries are located below the bilateral fallopian tubes of the uterus and are connected to the uterus by the original cruciate ligament of the uterus and ovaries. The uterus and ovaries secrete various hormones to maintain the endocrine balance of women. If the uterus and ovaries are removed, endocrine disorders will occur.

What are the symptoms of female adnexitis

Fallopian tube inflammation:

When salpingitis is in the acute stage, the endometrium in the bilateral fallopian tube lumen will be hematoma and swollen, and secretion extravasation will occur. Generally, fallopian tube obstruction is mostly a manifestation of fallopian tube inflammation. The symptoms are not obvious and the patient has no abnormal feelings. Almost all patients are found during infertility examinations.

Ovarian inflammation:

In the subacute stage, patients are prone to symptoms such as fever, lumbar pain, and a sense of heaviness in the anus. For chronic patients, they are often accompanied by chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, which is manifested by abnormal soreness in the lumbar region, a sense of heaviness in the anus, and abnormal changes in menstruation.

Subacute adnexitis:

The patient has pain in the lower abdomen and fever all over the body. The actual degree of mutation varies depending on the cause of the disease. Some patients will experience abnormalities such as chills before having a high fever, headache, and poor appetite. The inflammatory secretions of the fallopian tube are discharged from the uterine cavity, which will cause an abnormal increase in the patient's leucorrhea.

Chronic adnexitis:

The patient will have symptoms of lower abdominal distension and low fever, and will also often have lumbar soreness, a feeling of heaviness, and pain during sexual intercourse. The disease is very easy to recur and is aggravated when the patient is tired or has sexual intercourse. The patient has a long medical history and is prone to abnormal symptoms such as listlessness and fatigue.

When women suffer from adnexitis, not only will their bodies suffer greater damage, but their normal reproductive functions and sexual life will also be affected to varying degrees, causing patients to suffer great pain. Therefore, for adnexitis, once diagnosed with the disease, everyone should seek treatment in time to try to resolve the damage of the disease in the shortest time.
