Why do rural areas use solar water heaters? Will solar water heaters cause leakage?

Do you often see people in the village choosing to install solar water heaters? This is because the most critical reason for using solar water heaters in rural areas is that it saves money and is convenient, while city dwellers use electric water heaters due to limited conditions and it is not convenient to use solar water heaters. Why do rural areas use solar water heaters?

1. Save electricity and money: The biggest difference between solar water heaters and electric water heaters is that they use different energy sources. Solar water heaters use solar energy for heating and rarely use electricity, while electric water heaters must use electricity. Electric water heaters use a lot of electricity, so they are more expensive, while solar water heaters are very cost-effective. Rural people have the old idea that solar water heaters save electricity and money, so solar water heaters are more commonly used in rural areas, while electric water heaters are expensive and are naturally not the first choice in rural areas.

2. Installation and use: There are restrictions on the installation of solar water heaters. There needs to be enough space for installation. Most people in cities live in buildings. Solar water heaters can only be installed on the roof of the highest floor. There are very few buildings that can use solar water heaters. Moreover, if the solar water heater is installed on the roof, if the floor is high, it is very inconvenient to use it downstairs. It takes a long time for hot water to come out. For city people who are so busy at work every day, how can they have so much time to wait. Compared with cities, rural areas are much better. Most rural areas have their own doors and courtyards. Generally, they just install a solar water heater on the roof of their own house. It is very convenient to use. Moreover, the solar water heater is not too far from home, and there is no need to worry about the delay in hot water when using it. The key is that it is very convenient to install solar water heaters in rural areas with their own doors and courtyards, and there are no restrictions.

3. Light and experience: Solar water heaters need sufficient light. Rural areas are mostly small independent buildings or tiled houses, and the roofs of such houses generally have sufficient ultraviolet rays from the sun. In cities, most of them are buildings, and there is no place to install solar water heaters and no sufficient light. As for the user experience, if city dwellers install solar energy, they have to wait for a long time from the roof to the hot water in their homes, so it is not convenient to use solar water heaters.

How to disassemble and assemble a solar water heater

1. Choose a cloudy day, morning or evening as the time for disassembly, because all the hot water in the solar water heater must be drained before disassembly to avoid being scalded by the leaking hot water when disassembling the pipe. At noon, since the water in the vacuum tube has been drained, the strong sunlight will damage the vacuum tube and shorten its life.

2. When disassembling, it is best to lubricate the vacuum tube with water soaked in detergent or washing powder. At the same time, pay attention to the angle of the vacuum tube, which should be sent and pulled smoothly. Avoid pulling or pulling across angles to prevent the vacuum tube from bursting and injuring people. After disassembling the vacuum tube, use special foam polyester to divide it into compartments and put it in a special carton to prevent bumps during transportation.

3. Unscrew the four screws installed on the bracket to disassemble the solar water tank, and then you can disassemble the entire bracket.

4. For the accessories of the solar water heater, only the probe, temperature controller and solenoid valve need to be removed.

Will solar water heaters leak electricity?

Solar water heaters may leak electricity

1. Water valve. Strictly speaking, the water valve of a solar water heater usually does not malfunction. The main way to check the water valve is to open the water inlet of the solar water heater to see if the micro switch is open. If it can be opened and closed normally, it means that there is no problem with the water valve. Otherwise, it must be replaced. Usually, a water valve malfunctions and is accompanied by leakage.

2. Controller. Once the solar water heater has a leakage problem, you need to quickly check the controller. If it fails, there will be no high voltage ignition. Do not move the micro switch directly with your hands, and do not use a wire to directly connect the wires on both sides of the micro switch to see if it can ignite. If it can ignite, the controller is good. If it cannot ignite, the controller must be replaced.

3. Solenoid valve. When the solenoid valve fails, only high voltage ignition can be seen, but the solar water heater cannot burn. It is also the most easily damaged component in the solar water heater. It is best to replace this component during maintenance, because many maintenance personnel will take more convenient measures to directly remove the rubber behind the solenoid valve. This makes maintenance convenient and can quickly solve the problem of leakage of the solar water heater.
