34 weeks pregnant, no fetal movement for one day

After a period of time, the fetus will move back and forth in the mother's belly, which is also known as fetal movement. Fetal movement indicates that the fetus is growing and developing very well. At this time, pregnant women need to be careful about their daily walking exercises and avoid falling to prevent miscarriage. So, is it normal for the fetus to move if I can't get an erection for a day at 34 weeks of pregnancy?

The 34th week of pregnancy has entered the late stage of pregnancy. During this period, the fetus is quite large, the brain is fully developed, and the fetus has developed an autonomous nervous system, so the fetal movement in the uterus is also relatively regular. Under normal circumstances, the fetal movement of the baby at 34 weeks of pregnancy should occur at a fixed time range every day, and the number of fetal movements every day should remain roughly the same, with neither frequent fetal movements nor too few or absent fetal movements. If you do not feel the fetal movement for one day during the 34th week of pregnancy, you must pay close attention to this situation. The sudden disappearance of fetal movement indicates that the fetus is suffering from intrauterine hypoxia. You must go to the hospital for examination immediately, do fetal heart monitoring and B-ultrasound to confirm the fetus's intrauterine condition. If there are signs of hypoxia, the patient should be hospitalized immediately and given oxygen therapy.

In the second half of pregnancy, if you do not feel the baby's fetal movement in one day, you need to pay attention to do B-ultrasound to check the changes in the fetal heartbeat during this period. If the fetal heartbeat is within the normal range, there is no need to worry too much. Because in the second half of pregnancy, the fetus is relatively large, there is less amniotic fluid in the uterine cavity, and the fetal movement range is relatively small, which can easily lead to reduced strength of fetal movement or less obvious fetal movement. You should not feel it. As long as the fetal heartbeat is normal, there is no need to be overly anxious and worried. During this period, if you feel that the fetal movement is reduced and the fetal heartbeat is abnormal, you need to check it out immediately. If the fetus has intrauterine ischemia and hypoxia, it can easily cause the fetal heartbeat to slow down or increase, resulting in a decrease in the frequency of fetal movements. Timely oxygen supply is needed to improve the condition and avoid intrauterine ischemia and oxygen deficiency in the fetus.

Fetal intrauterine hypoxia usually starts with frequent fetal movements, that is, the fetal movements are particularly increased than in a certain period of time. The normal fetal heart rate is between 120 and 160 beats per minute. When the baby moves, the fetal heart rate will exceed 160, which is also normal, as long as the fetal heart rate is not higher than 160 beats for a long time. There is no problem. To detect the fetal heartbeat, three time points are generally chosen from morning to night. It is generally recommended to test after eating.
