How to test for HPV antibodies

How to test for HPV antibodies

Nowadays, the types of vaccines are already quite common. We can inject vaccines to keep antigens present and thus effectively resist the invasion of infectious diseases. Cervical cancer is mainly caused by HPV virus infection. The number of women getting the HPV vaccine is increasing. So, how to check HPV antigen after vaccination?

After taking the HPV vaccine, the body's relative antigen status will increase to a certain extent. Generally speaking, you can have it three times a month. After completing the third vaccination, blood can be drawn for antibody testing. At this moment, the antigen levels of people who have already been vaccinated are significantly higher than those of those who have not been vaccinated by dozens of times.

After receiving the HPV vaccine, the antigen level will begin to show a downward trend within 2 years, and eventually the antigen will remain at a stable level. Of course, you can also choose to test the HPV antigen within 2 years here, go to the hospital for a blood test, and check your own antigen status to ensure safety.

Nowadays, it is quite common for female friends to get vaccinated with HPV vaccine. Through this type of vaccine injection, the occurrence of cervical cancer virus can be prevented. If antigens are produced in the body, it can prevent the effects of this type of virus. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the vaccine, female friends can go to the hospital for a blood test after vaccination to easily understand their own antigen count.

What is the difference between TCT and HPV

TCT and HPV are two different types of diseases. Many people, when faced with these two types of diseases, don’t know which one they are suffering from. Below we will introduce some of the differences between TCT and HPV, so that everyone can distinguish these two different diseases based on these differences.

1.TCT

New Prepace liquid-based cytology is the English abbreviation of liquid-based cytology. It is a relatively advanced technology for cervical cytology in the world. Compared with the traditional cervical acid-fast staining Papanicolaou acid-fast staining test, it has significant improvements. The satisfactory rate of specimen collection and the diagnostic rate of abnormal somatic cells in the cervix have been widely used in clinical medicine. The diagnostic rate of cervical tumor cells in TCT cervical cancer screening is 100%. It can also detect precancerous lesions and microbial infections. Such as mold, trichomonas, mycoplasma and so on.

2. HPV

That is the human papillomavirus infection (HPV) test. The main manifestation is that it can cause squamous epithelial hyperplasia of human skin and mucous membranes, mainly manifesting as common warts and genital warts (condyloma acuminatum). With the rapid increase in the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases such as genital warts and the increase in cervical cancer and anal cancer, human papillomavirus infection has received more and more attention from people.

TCT is a cervical liquid-based cytology test; it is a test of the results; HPV test is a test of the cause of the disease. HPV is a high-risk viral infection that can cause cervical lesions and cervical cancer. TCT is an examination of pathogenic factors. Under this effect, abnormal changes occur in cervical cells.
