33 weeks of pregnancy, fetal movement

When the baby is in the mother's abdomen, it communicates with the mother through some fetal movements. The mother can fully feel the baby's situation in the abdomen. I believe that many mothers should have felt it. The baby starts to have fetal movements at four months. This process is very strange. So is it normal for the baby to move back and forth at 33 weeks of pregnancy?

33 weeks of pregnancy, baby's fetal movement

After the 16th week of pregnancy, the baby will grow at a rapid rate and show signs of being unwilling to be lonely. Generally, from 18 to 20 weeks, the mother can clearly feel the movement of the fetus. So it may feel like the baby is moving around in the mother's belly, but in fact, the baby may be stretching, rolling over, burping, and doing various activities.

At 33 weeks of pregnancy, pay attention to abnormal fetal movements

1. Placental abruption: The specific manifestation is that the fetal movement suddenly accelerates, and the pregnant woman has severe abdominal pain and heavy vaginal bleeding. It is generally more likely to occur in expectant mothers with a history of hypertension or whose abdomen has been hit by external force.

2. Poor placental function: The specific manifestation is that the baby's fetal movement appears late and is relatively weak. Poor placental function caused by various reasons (such as severe anemia in pregnant women, or placental calcification, etc.) leads to hypoxia of the embryo and the fetus. The fetus's fetal movement is slowed down due to long-term lack of oxygen.

3. Umbilical cord around the neck: The main manifestation is that the baby's fetal movement suddenly stops after a while. Commonly seen in cases of umbilical cord entanglement or tying. The normal length of the fetal umbilical cord is 50cm. If the fetal umbilical cord is too long, it is easy to wrap around the fetus's neck or body.

After the introduction of the above content, I believe everyone knows that the fetal movement at 33 weeks of pregnancy is actually the baby's movement in the mother's abdomen has become stronger, so the mother will begin to feel the baby's amplitude has increased. Do you feel very excited about such strong movement? Mothers should pay attention to the baby's fetal movement. If there is any abnormality, you need to see a doctor.
