How to tell if you are pregnant by touching your belly

Every mother who is preparing for pregnancy hopes that she can successfully conceive her baby. They are accustomed to touching their belly to judge whether they are pregnant. Not only mothers who are preparing for pregnancy, but also pregnant mothers like to touch their belly, especially in the late pregnancy, doing so is like communicating with the baby. Let’s discuss how to tell whether you are pregnant by touching your belly.

How to judge pregnancy by touching the belly

In the early stages of pregnancy, simply touching the belly is not enough to determine whether you are pregnant. You need other ways to tell whether you are pregnant:

1. Early pregnancy test. The advent of early pregnancy test strips has brought great convenience to the diagnosis of early pregnancy. On the seventh day of a woman's pregnancy, a specific growth hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin, can be detected in her urine, which is beneficial to maintaining pregnancy.

2. Measure body temperature during ovulation period. Measure your body temperature in bed after waking up every morning. The body temperature at this time is called ovulation temperature. Generally, the human body temperature is below 36.5℃ before ovulation. After ovulation, estrogen rises and acts on the human body temperature nerve center, raising the body temperature by 0.3-0.5℃. If the egg cannot be fertilized, the estrogen level will decrease after about a week and the body temperature will return to normal. If pregnancy has already occurred, the estrogen level will remain high and the body temperature will also remain high.

3. Symptom examination. Amenorrhea is the first and most important symptom of pregnancy. There are dizziness, fatigue, always wanting to sleep, poor appetite, picky eating, such as liking to eat sour food, aversion to greasy food, etc., and varying degrees of nausea and vomiting, vomiting mostly occurs in the morning.

4. B-ultrasound examination. B-ultrasound examination can be used to diagnose female pregnancy, and the size and development of the gestational sac can also be understood, and ectopic pregnancy can be effectively ruled out.

5. Blood HCG test. Detecting HCG value through blood quantitative analysis can determine whether a woman is pregnant, which is more flexible and accurate than using urine to detect early pregnancy test paper.
