How to Prevent Postpartum Depression

1. Improve perinatal health care: Use maternity schools and other means to popularize basic knowledge about pregnancy and childbirth, alleviate pregnant women's anxiety and fear about pregnancy and childbirth, and improve health care.

2. Close observation: Pregnant women with a family history of mental illness should be closely observed regularly, avoid any adverse stimulation, and provide more care and guidance.

3. Adequate care: The entire process and pain of childbirth have a great impact on postpartum depression, especially for pregnant women who have a long childbirth process and too much pressure, they should be given sufficient care.

4. Psychological guidance: Pregnant women with high-risk factors such as poor maternal delivery history, stillbirth, fetal malformation, abnormal mental state during pregnancy, etc. should be given more attention and receive psychological guidance as soon as possible.
