There is a dark red line in the C area of the pregnancy test stick

The pregnancy test stick is a method we use to check for pregnancy, and it has a relatively high accuracy. If two bars appear on the pregnancy test stick, it indicates pregnancy. If there is a dark red line in area C of the pregnancy test stick, it proves that you are not pregnant. However, women should pay attention to the time of using the pregnancy test stick. Using the pregnancy test stick too early will not detect the pregnancy. It is best to check half a month after having sex.

Will I get pregnant if there is a line in the C area?

If only a purple-red band appears on the upper end of the test strip and no band appears on the lower end, it means you are not pregnant. Generally, we can detect a specific hormone, HCG for short, in the urine of pregnant women from the 7th to 10th day of pregnancy. The early pregnancy test strips on the market can detect whether you are pregnant the fastest. Generally, it can be detected 7 days after sleeping together. You can also go to the hospital for testing, which is also through urine chorionic villus detection, usually one week after sleeping together. You can also test whether you are pregnant one week after your period is delayed next month, which is more accurate.

(1) Use a disposable urine cup or clean container to collect urine. It is best to choose morning urine. The HCG concentration in morning urine is high and the test results are relatively accurate.

(2) Tear open the aluminum foil bag along the cut and take out the test paper for testing.

(3) Strip type: Dip the end of the test paper with the arrow mark into the container containing the urine sample to be tested (the urine sample should not exceed the MAX line), take it out and lay it flat after about 3 seconds.

Card type: Use a pipette to draw 0.2mL (3-4 drops) of the urine sample to be tested into the sample addition area.

Pen type: Remove the cap and let the urine pour directly onto the sample area while urinating, and maintain the urine collection time for 3 seconds (Please note: Do not let the urine exceed the arrow to prevent the urine from wetting the test area and affecting the test results).

(4) Observe the test results in the test area: observe the test results within 5-10 minutes. Color development within 40 seconds is strongly positive.

Precautions for early pregnancy

People who like salty food are more likely to catch colds. To prevent colds, you should eat more light foods. Because of the osmotic effect of sodium salt, the function of epithelial cells is inhibited, reducing the secretion of anti-disease factors such as interferon. The virus takes the opportunity to invade the upper respiratory tract mucosa and induce a cold. Cold feet can easily lead to colds. If your feet are cold, it will reflexively cause the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa to constrict, making you more susceptible to cold viruses. People who are nervous and worried easily also tend to catch colds. People who are depressed have reduced immune function, which reduces the body's ability to kill pathogenic microorganisms. This is because the amount of antiviral substances such as interferon and nuclease in the nasopharynx is significantly reduced, the local immune function of the respiratory tract is weakened, and the cold virus has an opportunity to take advantage. In terms of diet, expectant mothers should supplement high-protein, high-vitamin, and high-mineral foods in time during the illness period. Foods that are too greasy or too nutritious should not be consumed.

More than 90% of women will experience edema in their ankles and legs during pregnancy. If examination shows no symptoms of pre-eclampsia, it can be considered normal and not a disease. This phenomenon usually improves in the later stages of pregnancy. In fact, edema is related to the increase in body water during pregnancy, compression of the pelvic veins, and obstruction of venous return in the lower limbs. If you experience discomfort due to edema, you should raise your legs as much as possible to facilitate venous return in the lower limbs. It is best to lie down on your side, place a small pillow under your calf, and rest for half an hour.
