How long does it take to recover from vaginal bulging after childbirth?

Many women will undergo postpartum repair after giving birth. This is mainly because the uterus and vagina of women are damaged during the delivery process. For example, some women will have the problem of postpartum vulvar wall prolapse after giving birth. When this problem occurs, postpartum repair is very important. There is also special repair training in clinical practice. So how long will it take for postpartum vulvar wall prolapse to recover?

1. If a woman experiences vaginal wall bulging after childbirth, she first needs to undergo a gynecological examination to see the extent of the bulging. The healing time needs to be determined based on the degree of damage to the muscles, ligaments and fascia of the female pelvic floor, and cannot be generalized. If vaginal wall bulge occurs, anal contraction exercises are necessary. You should practice it every day, 10 to 15 minutes each time. The longer you persist, the faster you will recover and the better the effect. You can also do bioelectric therapy.

2. Mild cases of postpartum vulvar wall prolapse have no obvious clinical symptoms, while severe cases may experience vaginal swelling, low back pain, and symptoms of urgency and frequency of urination. Under normal circumstances, for patients with mild symptoms, the symptoms of vaginal wall prolapse will recover about 6 months or 1 year after delivery. However, during the recovery period, patients should also avoid squatting for long periods of time and excessive fatigue, and should insist on anal lifting exercises. Those with severe symptoms should seek medical help and receive professional rehabilitation treatment in addition to daily exercise to avoid missing the best treatment time.

3. In addition to birth injuries that can cause vaginal wall prolapse, long-term physical weakness, sinking of the middle qi, long-term diarrhea, constipation, etc. can all lead to this disease. Therefore, postpartum or menopausal women should strengthen physical exercise, increase pelvic floor muscle function, and do more anal exercises. If they find that the vulvar wall is severely bulging, they should seek medical help in time. You can also do pelvic floor muscle exercises 2-3 times a day, each time for 15 to 30 minutes continuously. When exercising the pelvic floor muscles, tighten the anus, and each time the tightening time should be more than 3 seconds.
