Early pregnancy, one deep and one shallow

Early pregnancy, one deep and one shallow

With the development of modern clinical medical technology, there are many ways to test whether a woman is pregnant. In addition to the common blood tests, early pregnancy test strips and pregnancy test sticks have also become the immunization method of choice for many women, because these methods are more convenient than blood tests and can test whether you are pregnant at home. So if you use an early pregnancy test strip, what does one dark line and one light line mean?

Why is there one dark and one light on the early pregnancy test paper?

Generally speaking, there are several situations in which the color of the pregnancy test stick appears:

1. Only one control line appears on the pregnancy test stick: it means you are not pregnant.

2. Two lines appear on the pregnancy test stick, that is, the control line and the test line are both colored, and the test line is obvious and clear: it means that you are pregnant.

3. No control line appears on the pregnancy test stick within 5 minutes: It means the test is invalid or failed.

4. One dark and one light pregnancy test stick: Generally speaking, if the control line is clear and the test line is very light, it means you may be pregnant. In this case, you need to collect morning urine and retest with a new pregnancy test stick every two days.

Best time to use pregnancy test stick

Usually, you can use an early pregnancy test to detect whether you are pregnant 18 days after having sex or if your period is delayed by 7-10 days.

Principle: After the sperm and egg combine to form a fertilized egg, it takes 6-8 days for the fertilized egg to implant in the endometrium, and then 7-10 days for the HCG secreted by the placenta to enter the urine. It is more scientific to test whether the pregnancy is detected from the urine 18 days after intercourse.

For women who have sex, many people will choose to use early pregnancy tests. For early pregnancy tests, we still need to understand its instructions and period of use to avoid being confused when we really need to use it one day.
