Symptoms of Kidney Yang Deficiency in Women

The symptoms of kidney yang deficiency mainly occur in male friends, but women may also experience symptoms of kidney yang deficiency, which is related to girls’ daily life. When women suffer from kidney yang deficiency, they will experience frequent urination, urgency, and physical fatigue. They will also be afraid of cold and have cold hands and feet. Therefore, we should adjust the symptoms of kidney yang deficiency in time, otherwise it will affect our life and work.

What are the symptoms of kidney yang deficiency in women?

Frequent urination and increased nocturia

Due to insufficient kidney yang, the evaporation and gasification of yang energy and heat cannot proceed normally. Water enters the body and passes directly through the intestines to form urine, which can lead to increased urination, especially frequent urination at night, inability to hold urine, greasy urine and other symptoms.

Lack of energy and easy sweating

People with kidney yang deficiency will have a deep, thin and weak pulse. The brain will also suffer from lack of oxygen, leading to physical weakness, easy distraction, and easy feeling of fatigue. They will sweat easily after the slightest activity.

Fear of cold, cold hands and feet

Women with insufficient kidney yang are very afraid of cold and wind due to lack of heat in the body. They are particularly prone to feeling cold in the back, abdomen, waist and knees, hands and feet. At the same temperature, others may feel it is just right, but you feel a little cold, especially in winter, your hands and feet are never warm.

Weakness in waist and knees

Kidney yang deficiency and insufficient fire of the life gate cannot warm the waist and bones, which will lead to soreness and weakness in the waist and knees, accompanied by insomnia, dizziness, lower limb weakness and other symptoms. If the symptoms are severe, there may be a significant weight loss, and the low back pain may extend to heel pain, low back weakness, etc.

Dull complexion, poor gloss

In traditional Chinese medicine theory, the kidneys are responsible for blackness, and a dark complexion is often related to the kidneys. As we age, kidney essence gradually becomes insufficient and age spots are more likely to appear on our face. Clinically, the complexion of kidney patients is mostly dark. If it is light black, it is mostly caused by kidney yang deficiency. If it is dark and dry, it is caused by kidney yin deficiency or severe depletion of kidney essence.

Severe edema

People with kidney yang qi, due to decreased renal function, cannot use the production of urine to excrete toxins in the body in a timely manner, and are prone to edema. For example, when you wake up in the morning, you have dry eyes and swollen eyelids; after a day's work, the lower limbs have severe edema in the afternoon, etc. These may be symptoms of kidney deficiency.

Cold uterus, irregular menstruation

Only when the kidney qi is abundant can the qi and blood be harmonized, and only when the Chong and Ren meridians function normally can the menstrual cycle circulate normally. If the kidney yang is insufficient, the fire of the life gate is weak, and the reproductive function is reduced, it is easy to have cold uterus, which can lead to infertility in severe cases.

The tongue is enlarged and has teeth marks

Due to the deterioration of the body's water metabolism function, it is difficult to deposit water in various parts of the body, which can manifest as edema of the tongue, which becomes thicker and produces more saliva. When squeezed by the teeth, tooth marks are likely to appear. The tongue may also appear pale or dark blue in color.

Prone to diarrhea and unformed stools

When the kidney yang is deficient and the fire of the life gate is weak, the fire cannot generate earth and the spleen fails to function properly, there will be undigested food and early morning diarrhea, that is, there will often be incompletely digested food in the stool, and you will excrete whatever you eat, and it will always be in the early morning, that is, when you will have abdominal pain, intestinal rumbling, or diarrhea, and unformed stool.

Low libido

Once the kidney yang is deficient, it is easy to cause decreased libido, sexual dysfunction and other phenomena. Men may experience decreased sexual dysfunction, impotence, premature ejaculation, and susceptibility to prostatitis, while women may have decreased libido, uterine coldness and infertility, clear and thin leucorrhea and other symptoms.
