Acne on face before menstruation

Acne on face before menstruation

Menstruation is a physiological phenomenon that occurs in every woman and is also a normal metabolic activity of the reproductive system. Before or during menstruation, the hormones in women's bodies will undergo certain changes. Hormone changes will naturally lead to some problems, such as acne. So, how to deal with acne on the face before menstruation? Let me introduce you to the relevant knowledge below!

1. Clean the skin

In view of the patient's oily skin, wash your face alternately with neutral alkaline soap (such as Lux and Sunsilk soap) and facial cleanser suitable only for oily skin in the morning and before going to bed, and gently massage along the skin grain with the fingertips of both hands for 3-5 minutes to enhance the cleaning power of soap and facial cleanser, then wash it with warm or lukewarm water to thoroughly remove dust and grease on the skin that day. If there is a lot of dust and oil on the face, rinse it with warm water in time. Generally, it is best to wash your face 2-3 times a day.

2. Unclog pores

When pimples appear on the face, fill a basin with hot water, place the face that has been cleaned with facial cleanser or fine sand scrub in the rising steam, then wrap the face with a large towel for 3 minutes to open the pores, and then use the needle cap of a medical injection needle (No. 5-7) that has been disinfected with a 75% alcohol cotton ball or an acne remover to gently squeeze the skin at the edge of the pimple to squeeze out the pimple. This method is not easy to damage the nearby skin and will not leave scars.

3. Avoid using oily or powdery cosmetics

Use water-based care products as appropriate, and avoid heavy makeup. Before going to bed, you should thoroughly remove the day's makeup and avoid applying nourishing creams, ointments, etc. before going to bed, so that the skin can be relaxed, unobstructed, and breathe fully at night.

4. Don’t squeeze or press acne with your hands

Avoid touching already grown pimples with your hands frequently or trying to cover up the rash with hair and foundation cream. In particular, overcome the bad habit of squeezing or pressing pimples with your hands, because the bacteria on the hands and the dirt on the hair can easily infect the skin and aggravate the acne. Squeezing and pressing can cause permanent depressed scars, leaving lifelong regrets.

5. Eat a healthy diet

In terms of diet, eat less fat, high-sugar, spicy, fried foods, and stimulating beverages such as liquor and coffee, and eat more vegetables and fruits and drink more water. People who often suffer from constipation can use 20 grams of mung beans and 50 grams of rice, cook them into porridge, add a small amount of rock sugar to mix, and take it twice a day.
