Where does the fetus move after it enters the pelvis?

Pregnancy is a happy time, but the first three months of pregnancy will be more difficult because at this time the mother needs to enter the pregnancy stage, which will be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever and physical weakness. Moreover, it will be difficult to eat during this period. You can only eat a little at a time, and you may vomit after eating. After finally waiting for the fetus to enter the pelvis, what is the fetal movement like at this time?

How does the fetus move after entering the pelvis?

As pregnancy comes to an end, the fetus in the womb is silently preparing for birth. He (she) will wait for the opportunity with his (her) head down, buttocks up and whole body curled up, surrounded by amniotic fluid and fetal membrane. Before delivery, the first thing the fetus is forced to do is to put its head through the mother's pelvic inlet into the pelvic cavity so that its body position is consolidated. This is what is medically known as "pelvic entry". It can be said that pelvic floor is the prelude to childbirth.

When the fetus enters the pelvis, many pregnant women often feel a tightening and heavy pain in their abdomen, and think that the fetus in their abdomen is descending, so they will rush to the hospital in a hurry. In fact, this situation is not a real sign of labor. The main differences are that first, the duration of uterine contractions is short, often less than half a minute; second, the contractions are irregular and relatively weak. Therefore, it is often called "false labor". But no matter what, the pelvis entering the pelvis means that delivery is approaching, and pregnant women can make all kinds of preparations based on this signal to welcome the arrival of the baby.

The fetus enters the pelvis between the 36th week of pregnancy and the onset of labor pains. Generally, the first baby may enter the pelvis earlier. Although the fetus has entered the pelvis, it does not mean that labor pains will occur immediately. Sometimes it may take several weeks before labor pains occur. Sometimes, even if the baby has not entered the pelvis, there is no need to worry, because the entry into the pelvis may be completed after the labor pain. If it is the second child, the fetus usually enters the pelvis before labor pains begin.

Introduction to fetal movement

Fetal movement refers to the movement of the fetus in the uterine cavity that impacts the uterine wall.

Normal fetal movement is a special "letter" from the fetus to the mother to tell her that she is safe, and it is also a sign that the fetus is in good condition. Abnormal fetal movement indicates that the fetus is currently encountering difficulties or dangers. Therefore, expectant mothers should learn to observe fetal movements. Before the baby is born, mothers rely on sensing the baby's various fetal movements to understand the baby's life patterns and health status, and the baby in the belly also "chat" with the mother through such "punching and kicking".

Don't try to compare your fetal movements with those of other expectant mothers. Each fetus, like a newborn baby, has its own pattern of development and activity. Some are more active, some are quieter. Some fetuses move as punctually as a timer, while others have no pattern at all. As long as the fetal movements do not decrease dramatically or stop, any changes and differences are normal.

The fetus begins to move from about the 8th week, and the spine also begins to make subtle movements. The mother cannot perceive the fetal movement at this time. Since the end of 16 weeks, the fully developed limbs will begin to move actively. Usually the mother can feel the fetal movement at this time, but some people may still not know what it feels like. The fetus's punching, kicking, turning and other movements can not only be felt but also seen.
