Vulvar suture surgery takes about 4 to 6 weeks to recover. The specific recovery time is directly related to the patient's postoperative care and personal physical condition. During the recovery period, you should pay attention to the care of the vulva area and develop a good habit of regular cleaning to reduce the chance of infection and inflammation.

Vulvar suture surgery is usually easy to cause vulvar laceration during vaginal delivery, thus requiring vulvar suture surgery. After the vulvar suture surgery, the local wound is not very firm yet, and appropriate care needs to be done to avoid wound rupture. During the vulvar suture surgery, soluble and absorbable protein thread is generally used for suture. After the suture is completed, there is generally no need to remove the suture, and it can be well absorbed and accepted by the skin tissue. However, the recovery period is relatively long, generally taking about 4 to 6 weeks to recover. For people with good physical condition, proper care, and no infection or inflammation, the wound can be basically healed in about 4 weeks. For people with poor physical constitution, low immunity and inadequate care, the recovery period will be prolonged and it may take about 6 weeks to heal.

After the vulvar suture surgery, you must do a good job of local care, wear loose and breathable cotton underwear, and avoid sexual intercourse in the short term to avoid infection and inflammation.
