Pregnant women have a small amount of amniotic fluid leakage

Pregnant women may experience a small amount of amniotic fluid leakage. This symptom sometimes occurs occasionally. When this symptom occurs, do not be careless and go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. When this symptom occurs, the first thing to consider is whether it is a threatened abortion and whether it is accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal pain and spotting. Let us now take a closer look at the situation in which a small amount of amniotic fluid leaks out of a pregnant woman.

1. What should I do if the amniotic fluid stops flowing after a little flow?

You should consider going to the hospital in time to check the amniotic fluid and take care to prevent the baby from suffering from hypoxia due to low amniotic fluid. In normal circumstances, it is recommended to go to the hospital regularly to check the condition of the fetus and calculate the expected date of delivery. If there is no obvious abdominal pain or irregular uterine contractions, it will generally not affect the normal development of the child. Pay attention to eating less raw, cold and irritating foods, but avoid stress.

2. How to prevent premature birth in late pregnancy

The key to preventing premature birth is early diagnosis and timely treatment. You must go to the hospital for examination when any of the following 3 situations occur:

1. Hardening of the lower abdomen: In the late pregnancy, as the uterus expands, irregular uterine contractions may occur, almost without pain. They are characterized by frequent occurrences at night and disappearance the next morning. These are called physiological uterine contractions and will not cause premature birth.

If your lower abdomen becomes soft and hard repeatedly and your muscles also feel hard and swollen, and you have at least one contraction every 10 minutes lasting more than 30 seconds, accompanied by a shortening of the cervical canal, this is a sign of premature birth and you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

2. Vaginal bleeding: A small amount of bleeding is one of the signs of labor, but sometimes vaginal bleeding can occur in cases of cervical inflammation, placenta previa, and placental abruption. At this time, the amount of bleeding is large, and you should go to the hospital for examination immediately.

3. Water rupture: The outflow of warm water-like liquid is early water rupture, but in general, the pain starts immediately after water rupture. At this time, you can raise your buttocks, it is best to lie flat, and go to the hospital immediately.
