What is moderate typical cervical hyperplasia? Do you know?

Moderate typical cervical hyperplasia occurs in many female friends, the main manifestations are increased and abnormal vaginal discharge. In the early stages, it manifests as irregular menstruation, frequent urination, difficulty urinating, increased vaginal discharge, vulvar itching and bleeding. Therefore, female friends should pay attention when these conditions occur and seek medical treatment in time.

The main clinical manifestation of cervical hyperplasia is increased vaginal discharge, which is generally caused by repeated attacks of chronic cervicitis. When the cervix is acutely inflamed, it becomes congested and hematoma-filled, painful to the touch, and a large amount of yellow pus-like secretions flow out of the vagina. There is also lower abdominal distension and pain. If the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity, there may be pain in the lumbar region and a feeling of heaviness. When it turns into a chronic disease, the cervix will have erosion, hypertrophy and other lesions, and the vaginal secretions will increase and appear white or yellow. The pain may be worse before or after your period, during bowel movements, or after sexual intercourse.

1. What is cervical hyperplasia?

Cervical hyperplasia is actually a type of cervicitis, which is a common disease among women of childbearing age. It comes in two forms: acute and chronic. Acute cervicitis often coexists with acute uterine inflammation or acute vaginitis, but cervical erosion is more common. Cervical erosion is more common in children due to childbirth, abortion or surgical injury to the cervix, which causes infection due to the invasion of pathogens. There are many manifestations of cervical erosion. Such as cervical erosion, cervical hypertrophy, cervical polyps, cervical gland cysts, etc., among which cervical erosion is the most common.

Experts say that when the cervix is acutely inflamed, it will become congested and hematoma-like, and painful to the touch. A large amount of yellow pus-like secretions will flow out of the female genitals, and there will be bloating and pain in the lower abdomen. If the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity, there may be pain in the lumbar and sacral area and a feeling of falling. When it turns into a chronic disease, the cervix will have erosion, hypertrophy and other lesions, and the female genital secretions will increase and appear white or yellow. The pain gets worse before or after your menstrual period, during or after a bowel movement.

2. Early symptoms of cervical hyperplasia

The main symptoms of cervical hyperplasia are increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. The irritation of vaginal discharge can cause vulvar itching, accompanied by low back pain and lower abdominal pain. In addition, there are often lower urinary tract symptoms, such as urgency, frequency, and pain when urinating. Chlamydia trachomatis infection may also cause symptoms such as increased menstrual flow, intermenstrual bleeding, and bleeding after sexual intercourse.

1. Menstrual irregularities: Most inflammations can cause menstrual irregularities in women, and cervicitis is no exception. Chronic cervicitis can also cause symptoms such as menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea and infertility.

2. Frequent urination and difficulty urinating: When inflammation spreads through the lymph or directly and affects the surrounding tissues, symptoms such as frequent urination and difficulty urinating may occur.

3. Increased vaginal discharge: Increased vaginal discharge is the main symptom of cervicitis and also the first symptom to appear. It is manifested by increased vaginal discharge, which is thick mucus or purulent mucus.

4. Vulvar itching: In addition, the most easily discovered symptom of cervicitis is vulvar itching, which is mainly caused by leucorrhea stimulation.

5. Bleeding: Not all patients with cervicitis will experience bleeding, but it is also relatively common. Sometimes the secretions may contain blood or a small amount of blood, and there may also be contact bleeding.

3. How to treat cervical hyperplasia

Cervical hyperplasia requires anti-inflammatory treatment. The cause of cervical hyperplasia is the result of repeated chronic cervicitis. If the situation is serious, it may have a certain impact on pregnancy, so patients with cervical hyperplasia need timely treatment.

1. Treatment of cervical hyperplasia with traditional Chinese medicine

Damp-heat descends: Leucorrhea of large amount, yellow color or with blood, thick like pus, foul smell, burning pain and swelling in the vagina, short and yellow urine, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, and slippery and rapid pulse. Treatment method: Clear away heat, promote dampness and stop leukorrhea.

Prescription: 15 grams each of Poria cocos, Smilax glabra, red peony root, moutan bark, and Patrinia jasminoides, 10 grams each of Gardenia jasminoides, Zedoariae rhizome, Plantago seed (package), and Cyathula officinalis, and 6 grams of raw licorice.

Chinese patent medicine: anti-endometritis tablets.

Deficiency of both spleen and kidney, with excessive vaginal discharge, white in color, thin in texture, and with a fishy smell. Weak waist and knees, poor appetite, constipation, pain in the lower abdomen, frequent urination, pale tongue, white and slippery tongue coating, and slow pulse. Treatment method: Strengthen the spleen and warm the kidneys, eliminate dampness and stop leukorrhea.

Prescription: 15 grams each of Codonopsis pilosula, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, raw coix seed, Psoralea corylifolia, and cuttlefish bone, 10 grams each of Morinda officinalis and Euryale ferox, and 6 grams of roasted licorice.

Chinese patent medicine: Wenjing Baidai Pills.

2. Diet therapy is very good for the treatment of cervical hypertrophy. There are several types of dietary therapy:

1. Put 30 grams of new silkworm sand (wrapped in cloth) and 30 grams of Job's tears in a clay pot, add appropriate amount of water and boil it, once a day for 5 to 7 days.

2. Wrap 9 grams of lentil flowers and 12 grams of Chinese toon bark in gauze, add 200 ml of water, boil and take 150 ml. Drink in several times. It usually takes effect in 1 week.

3. Physical therapy for cervical hyperplasia

For patients with cervical hypertrophy, deep and extensive erosion involving the cervical canal, or suspected malignant changes, physical therapy can be chosen. Common treatment methods include:

1. Electric ironing: Use the electric iron head to touch the eroded surface to coagulate the tissue and form a scab. The scab will begin to fall off after about two weeks, and it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for the wound to heal. The operation should be performed 3 to 5 days after the end of menstruation. Do not use if you have adnexitis. After treatment, leucorrhea may temporarily increase or cause bleeding. If there is a lot of bleeding, use sterile gauze to apply pressure to stop the bleeding and remove it after 24 hours. The disadvantage is that scar contraction may sometimes lead to cervical stenosis.

2. Cryotherapy: Use a liquid nitrogen rapid cooling device, place the probe on the eroded surface for 1 to 3 minutes, remove it after natural rewarming, and cause the diseased tissue to freeze and necrotize. A lot of watery discharge may occur 2 to 3 weeks after treatment. The advantage is that bleeding and cervical stenosis occur less frequently.

3. Laser treatment: Laser carbonizes and forms scabs on the eroded tissue, and the healing process is the same as the previous two treatment methods.

4. Focused ultrasound therapy.
