What is uterine myopathy?

Adenomyosis refers to the extensive invasion of the uterine wall into the myometrium and focal growth and development therein. It is characterized by the presence of disorganized endometrium and glandular ducts in the myometrium, accompanied by hypertrophy and proliferation of surrounding myometrial somatic cells. Therefore, it is called intrauterine endometriosis, while endometriosis in the pelvis is called extrauterine endometriosis. Let’s discuss in detail what uterine myocardial spring disease is.

Adenomyosis, also known as intrinsic endometriosis, is a unique type of endometriosis in which the uterine wall invades the uterine muscle wall. Dysmenorrhea is a clinical symptom of adenomyosis. The most effective treatment at this stage is surgery. Surgical treatment includes radical surgery and traditional surgery. Radical surgical treatment is total hysterectomy. Traditional surgical treatments include adenomyosis removal, uterine wall and myometrium removal, and laparoscopic myometrium electrocoagulation.

Many experts and scholars believe that the two are not the same disease. Their similarity is that both are regulated by uterine and ovarian growth hormone.

"Adenomyosis refers to the migration of tissue from the uterine wall to the endometrium, which causes dysmenorrhea in patients. The disease may become intermittent and severe. Color Doppler ultrasound examinations show uneven echoes of the front and back walls. Patients with adenomyosis mainly have the following symptoms.

1. Increased menstrual volume. Because the total area of uterine wall shedding is enlarged and the uterine contraction is not good, uterine bleeding cannot be controlled, and the patient will experience increased menstrual volume and prolonged menstrual duration.

2. Patients with adenomyosis will continue to experience a feeling of anal distension, which is caused by the enlarged uterus compressing the duodenum, and is more obvious during the menstrual period.

3. Due to the increase in menstrual volume, patients are very likely to develop anemia.
