Initially, the drug is given intravenously or rectly, and should be switched to oral administration after symptoms are relieved. Ginger may also reduce or eliminate symptoms without side effects.

3. Correct electrolyte imbalance

People who are deficient in sodium should supplement sodium appropriately. Potassium should be supplemented at the same time as fluid replacement. The general daily dose is 3 to 4 g. In severe hypokalemia, 6 to 8 g of potassium should be supplemented. Pay attention to the urine volume, monitor serum potassium and electrocardiogram changes, and adjust the dose at any time.

In severe cases, alkali should be supplemented according to the following formula. Generally, the initial dose is 1/3 of the total amount required. After rechecking the carbon dioxide binding capacity, a decision should be made whether to continue supplementation.
