Why does vaginal blisters itch?

Why does vaginal blisters itch?

Vulvar itching is the most common and most embarrassing gynecological disease for women. Since women's sensitive parts are more fragile and easily invaded by bacteria, this often has a serious impact on the patient's life. The causes of vulvar itching are very complex, and local causes include special infections. Some patients have no obvious local or systemic causes, which may be related to mental or psychological factors. Below I will show you the cause of the disease.

1. Local skin is unclean. Some women use toilet paper improperly, and the skin of the vulva is soaked by menstrual blood, vaginal secretions, and even urine, feces and sweat, which causes chronic inflammation of the local skin and causes vulva itching.

2. Drug allergy. "Fixed drug rash" caused by sulfonamides or other drugs in women with allergic constitution often occurs at the junction of the skin and mucous membrane of the vulva. In addition to local itching, it may be complicated by erosion and exudation.

3. Skin diseases of the vulva. The skin lesions of tinea cruris often extend to the vulva, causing severe local itching.

4. Viral infection. Genital warts mostly occur on the female vaginal wall, cervix and vulva, and may also cause foul-smelling leucorrhea. Molluscum contagiosum occurring in the vulva often presents as round papules with an umbilical-like depression in the center, and may also cause itching in the vulva. Genital herpes is often manifested by the appearance of bright, rice-sized blisters on the urethral opening and vaginal wall, accompanied by local itching.

5. Allergy to sexual intercourse. This is an allergic reaction that occurs during sexual intercourse. There are people who are allergic to semen, condoms, and friction.

6. Vaginal trichomoniasis. Itching of the vulva and vagina, foamy leucorrhea, often accompanied by a special odor, and scratching also causes eczematous changes in the vulva dermatitis. A vaginal smear test can be used to distinguish it from the above conditions.

7. Fungal vaginitis. Itching of the vulva and vagina, flushing of the vulva, and leucorrhea resembling bean curd residue with an odor. Scratching may cause eczematous changes of the vulva dermatitis.

The above introduces the reasons for vulvar itching and blisters. Many women go to the pharmacy to buy medicine for treatment on their own due to embarrassment and shyness. This is wrong. When the vagina is itchy, using inappropriate medication will not only fail to cure the disease, but will also make the condition worse. In addition, you should stop having sex, go to the hospital to diagnose your condition, and then receive systematic targeted treatment.
