What to do if you have bleeding after uterine prolapse surgery

Pregnancy and childbirth are very important things for women, because it not only relates to the increase of family members, but also means the second development of women. During pregnancy, the hormone levels in women's bodies begin to change, which has a great impact on the development of their bodies. However, after the birth of a child, women's body resistance becomes weaker, and many postpartum diseases may occur, even uterine prolapse, or bleeding after uterine prolapse surgery. What treatment measures are needed?

When the uterus descends along the vagina from its normal position, the external cervical opening reaches below the level of the ischial spine, or even the entire uterus protrudes out of the vaginal opening, it is called uterine prolapse. Uterine prolapse is often accompanied by bulging of the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina.

The main reasons are damage to the cervix, cardinal cervical ligament and uterosacral ligament caused by delivery and failure of supporting tissues to return to normal after delivery. In addition, most women in the postpartum period like to lie on their backs and are prone to chronic urinary retention. The uterus is prone to become posterior, with the axis of the uterus in the same direction as the axis of the vagina. When the abdominal pressure increases, the uterus will descend along the direction of the vagina and prolapse will occur. Postpartum squatting habits (such as washing diapers, washing vegetables, etc.) can increase abdominal pressure and cause uterine prolapse. Uterine prolapse in nulliparous women is caused by poor development of the supporting tissues of the reproductive organs.

(1) Rest in bed. When sleeping, it is advisable to raise your hips or feet to the height of two bricks.

(2) Do not get out of bed and move around too early after giving birth, especially do not engage in heavy physical labor too early.

(3) Avoid standing for long periods of time, squatting, holding your breath, and other actions that increase abdominal pressure.

(4) Maintain smooth bowel and bladder function.

(5) Timely treat diseases that increase abdominal pressure, such as chronic bronchitis and diarrhea.

(6) Breastfeeding should not exceed two years to avoid atrophy of the uterus and its supporting tissues.

(7) Engage in appropriate physical exercise to improve physical fitness.

(8) Increase nutrition and eat more foods that have the effect of replenishing qi and kidney, such as chicken, yam, lotus seeds, jujube, etc.

Becoming a mother may be a compulsory course for many women, but they must take better care of their bodies, pay corresponding attention to their various physical discomforts in the postpartum period, have a corresponding understanding of their own bodies while taking care of their children, consult a professional hospital in time, and use surgery as soon as possible if the problem is serious, keep a happy mood, and supplement nutrition.
