Several types of vaginitis in women

2. Senile vaginitis: The amount of yellow watery leucorrhea increases, and in severe cases it may be purulent and have a foul odor, and sometimes may have light blood, and the epithelium may fall off to form superficial ulcers.

3. Bacterial vaginosis: About 10% to 50% of patients have no symptoms. The symptoms are grayish white leucorrhea with a fishy odor, a burning sensation and itching in the vagina; the secretions can be easily wiped off the vaginal wall, and the vaginal mucosa may not be congested or red and swollen; gynecological complications such as cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease often occur at the same time.

4. Trichomonas vaginitis: The amount of thin, serous, gray-yellow leucorrhea increases, and sometimes is bloody, the vulva is itchy and burning, there is pain during sexual intercourse, urinary pain, urgency and hematuria; the vaginal and cervical mucosa are congested and edematous, often with scattered red spots or strawberry-shaped protrusions; the leucorrhea is grass green and has a foul odor.
