What are the symptoms of menopause?

The age of menopause for women is usually between 45 and 55 years old. In addition, some women often find that they go into menopause before the age of 40. During this period, women's ovarian function declines and estrogen decreases, which can easily lead to insomnia, nightmares, anxiety and other problems. The biggest impact is menstrual abnormalities and menstrual disorders. For female friends, it is very important to understand the menopausal symptoms in advance and make corresponding adjustments in time. This is also the best time to prevent aging and maintain youthful vitality.

Symptoms of menopause:

1. The cycle is extended.

During menopause, a woman's menstrual cycle may be prolonged to varying degrees, from the normal 20 to 30 days to once every 2 to 3 months or even longer. The menstrual flow may be normal or less than before, and the interval between menstruation gradually increases to 4 to 5 months or half a year, and then stops completely.

2. Increase or decrease in menstrual bleeding volume.

Women before and after menopause will experience symptoms of irregular menstruation. Some women will experience increased menstrual bleeding due to kidney yin deficiency, and may even have heavy vaginal bleeding. Severe cases may lead to anemia. There are also cases where bleeding continues but the amount of bleeding is very small, which usually manifests as continuous, small amounts of vaginal bleeding.

3. Abnormal menstrual blood color.

There may be a situation where menstrual blood is blocked in the pelvic cavity, causing the blood to turn black. Some women have bright red menstrual blood, which is also abnormal. It is caused by blood and qi deficiency in the body.

4. Sudden amenorrhea.

A small number of women have had normal menstrual cycles and periods in the past and then suddenly go into menopause. Some women have normal cycles, with only a few periods where the amount of menstruation gradually decreases and then suddenly stops. These are all normal symptoms of menopause.

Women in menopause experience some physical reactions due to the decline of body functions, especially menstrual disorders, which affect their daily lives and can even have an impact on their health in severe cases. Women in this period must pay attention to daily diet regulation and increase nutrition. At the same time, it is also important to participate in some activities with low physical activity and keep a good mood.
