What to do if the follicles grow slowly

There are many problems with follicles, and different problems have different symptoms, including the slow growth of follicles. Follicles grow at a certain speed, and we can monitor their specific growth speed in some ways, but follicles can also grow slowly. The slow growth of follicles should be taken seriously, so what should we do if follicles grow slowly?

Ultrasound examination of the time of follicle appearance: multiple follicles develop simultaneously at the beginning of each menstrual cycle, but generally only 1 or 2 follicles develop to maturity, called the main follicles (dominant follicles), and the remaining follicles close one after another. The earliest time for ultrasound imaging of follicles can be 5-7 days in the menstrual cycle, and the minimum diameter displayed is 4~5mm.

Ultrasound examination of follicle growth rate: Ultrasound can be used to detect small follicles in the ovaries on the 3rd to 5th day of the menstrual cycle. These follicles gradually grow larger, reaching their largest size on the 14th day on average, and ovulation can occur. From the 5th day of menstruation to before ovulation, the primary follicle grows an average of 1.5mm per day, 1.2mm per day before the 10th day, and 1.9mm per day 4 days before ovulation until the follicle matures.

Ultrasound monitoring of follicle development time: generally on the 9th to 10th day of the menstrual cycle; normal cycle can be 10-11 days, drug-induced cycle requires monitoring follicle development 1-2 days in advance.

Contents of ultrasound monitoring of follicle development: It requires measuring the size of both ovaries, the number, size, and shape of follicles, whether the boundaries are clear, and the internal echo. At the same time, the size and shape of the uterus should be measured. Whether there are any abnormalities in the echo and the condition within the uterine cavity. Measuring the size of the follicle requires measuring three diameters on the largest section of the follicle, and monitoring should be done 1 to 2 times a day 2 to 3 days before ovulation.

Endocrine balance therapy is based on syndrome differentiation and treatment: it mainly uses Chinese medicine to regulate the body, and conducts dialectical treatment according to each person's physical condition. It regulates the functions of women's organs by regulating qi and blood, removing blood stasis and dispersing nodules, and replenishing Chong and Ren meridians, thereby regulating endocrine balance.

Renewing metabolic stasis in the body: Endocrine balance therapy supplemented by physical therapy can quickly eliminate metabolic stasis in the patient's body, balance qi and blood, and make the secretion levels of estrogen and progesterone tend to the optimal physiological state, which has a unique effect on regulating women's irregular menstruation.

Personalized treatment based on the cause: For example, for endocrine disorders such as puberty stunting, menopausal endocrine disorders, polycystic ovary, endometritis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, thyroid dysfunction, as well as abortion and postpartum menstrual disorders, personalized plans can harmonize the hormone balance in women and restore normal menstruation.

Adjust the menstrual cycle: According to the different physiological cycles of individual women, targeted adjustments are made by using different drugs to promote the normal development and ovulation of ovarian follicles, promote uterine blood circulation, improve the intrauterine environment, and enhance its physiological function.
