What causes abdominal pain and bleeding after sex?

Abdominal pain and bleeding after intercourse are common in gynecological inflammation, the most common of which is pelvic inflammation. If women do not pay attention to daily hygiene during intercourse, men may bring bacteria into women's bodies, causing pelvic inflammation and pelvic infection. If the posture during sexual intercourse is relatively rough, it will cause damage to the female reproductive organs, generally the vaginal wall, and abdominal pain and bleeding after intercourse. In addition, if there are changes in the cervix, such as cervical cysts, cervical precancerous lesions, cervical cancer, etc., abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding may occur after intercourse. If the patient has the above-mentioned situation, he needs to go to the hospital for medical examination as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis and the next step of treatment.

If you experience abdominal pain after intercourse and have other abdominal pain symptoms, it is considered to be the cause of gynecological inflammation. If the posture is too rough, it is easy to cause the pelvic organ nerves to be stretched and stimulated, causing abdominal pain. If there is vaginal bleeding, it is considered to be irregular bleeding, which is often caused by chronic cervical inflammation, such as cervical cysts or cervical epithelial cell degeneration. In this case, it is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse, and check the cervical CT and HPV clearance for epithelial cell degeneration.

If a woman bleeds and experiences abdominal pain during intercourse, it may be due to chronic cervicitis, cervical cysts, bleeding caused by irritation after intercourse, or abdominal pain caused by rising infection. If this happens, women should undergo a gynecological examination in time and have a routine examination of their leucorrhea to find out whether there is cervical cyst or cervical erosion.

If it is cervical erosion, cancer screening, TCT and HPV tests should be done to rule out precancerous lesions of the cervix. If it is caused by inflammation, such as cervical cysts or cervical erosion causing bleeding during intercourse, cervical erosion should be treated promptly and cervical cyst removal surgery should be performed. Anti-infection and hemostatic drugs should be taken orally after the surgery. Intercourse can be resumed only after the inflammation is cured.
