How many degrees of cervical erosion are there?

Cervical erosion is generally divided into three stages. The third stage is the late stage of the disease. The early symptoms include abnormal leucorrhea, increased bleeding, irregular menstruation, and insufficient qi and blood. As the disease worsens, edema, erosion, increased secretions, and abnormal vaginal bleeding will appear on the surface.

Patients do not feel obvious symptoms of cervical erosion, so it is difficult to be discovered in time. The disease develops very quickly, so patients should be informed of the disease in time. Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease in women. Cervical erosion is also a type of chronic cervicitis. It is difficult to treat and is prone to recurrence after treatment. Many women are afraid of the treatment of cervical erosion.

Symptoms of cervical erosion

Symptoms of 1st degree cervical erosion: Generally manifested as abnormal leucorrhea, which may be yellow, milky white, light yellow, sticky, purulent, or watery in texture. Some patients may also experience vulvar itching accompanied by an odor.

Symptoms of cervical erosion degree 2: Cervical erosion degree 2 generally presents symptoms such as increased secretions and lower back pain. Since it is degree 2, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a TCT examination and then receive treatment according to the situation after the examination. You have cervical erosion of degree 2. The light bleeding after menstruation is likely to be bleeding from the cervical erosion surface, or it may be endometritis caused by cervical erosion.

Symptoms of cervical erosion grade 3: Symptoms of cervical erosion grade 3 include increased and sticky vaginal discharge, and occasionally purulent or bloody vaginal discharge. It is often accompanied by back pain, abdominal pain, and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen. It may also cause contact bleeding during sexual intercourse, and the appearance of an odor is also very likely.

There is currently another explanation for cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is a normal displacement of columnar epithelial cells on the surface of the cervix and cannot be considered a disease. However, mild cervical erosion may be this normal cell displacement. If it is moderate or severe cervical erosion that affects daily life, you still need to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment.
