Polycystic ovary surgery

Polycystic ovary surgery

Polycystic ovary disease is very harmful to women, and women who have this disease must undergo surgery because it will hinder women's pregnancy function. Many women will have ectopic pregnancy or unbearable abdominal pain after suffering from polycystic ovary, and even ovarian cyst bleeding. So how should polycystic ovary surgery be performed?

I believe everyone is familiar with polycystic ovary. There are many reasons for polycystic ovary. No matter what the cause is, everyone should pay enough attention and treat it in time. Under the current circumstances, there are many treatments for polycystic ovary. So can polycystic ovary be treated surgically?

Can polycystic ovary be treated surgically?

Although everyone suffers from polycystic ovary, everyone's physical constitution and disease severity are different, so the treatment methods in the later stage will also be very different. Some of the more serious patients can be treated with surgery. There have been reports of bilateral ovarian wedge resection treatment at a very early time. Surgical treatment can reduce the number of granulosa cells in the ovaries, and the androgen produced by the ovarian stroma will also decrease, so that the level of androgen in the circulation will decrease, and thus GnRH will decrease, causing the serum androgen concentration to decrease again, indicating that the ovarian stroma is also regulated by the pituitary-ovarian axis. Because the androgen level will decrease, most patients can resume spontaneous ovulation and menstruation after surgical treatment, and some patients may even become pregnant naturally.

At present, there are many surgical treatments for polycystic ovary. Doctors will choose targeted methods according to the situation of each patient, such as bilateral ovarian wedge resection, laparoscopic ovarian electrocautery or laser perforation. In addition to these two methods, there is also transvaginal hydrolaparoscopic treatment. These different surgical methods are suitable for patients with different conditions, so the final method depends on the patient's condition.

Can polycystic ovary be treated surgically? I believe everyone is very concerned about this issue. The incidence of polycystic ovary has increased rapidly in recent years, so people's attention to polycystic ovary has also increased greatly. The content about whether it can be treated surgically is introduced above, I hope it can help everyone.
