At what age does a woman's vagina loosen

Most women are particularly afraid of vaginal loosening, because vaginal loosening not only makes sex less enjoyable, but also makes them more prone to gynecological diseases. Vaginal loosening indicates that women are getting older and may even experience menopause. Generally, vaginal loosening is closely related to the number of times women have sex. So at what age does vaginal loosening begin?

In addition to the rupture of the elastic fiber network, the cause of vaginal relaxation is also the atrophy of the surface cells of the vaginal wall muscle. Vaginal relaxation is a stage that every woman must go through, especially those who have given birth. Due to strain during childbirth, the vagina may become loose and difficult to recover. However, there are more reasons that cause vaginal relaxation in women.

1. Age: The vagina of middle-aged and elderly women over 40 years old will naturally age with the passage of time. The ovarian function will gradually decline, the amount of estrogen will decrease, the muscle tension will decrease, and the mucosa will atrophy. Therefore, the vagina will become loose, dry, and lack elasticity.

2. Childbirth: For women who have given birth, the vagina can expand to several times its original size. Especially for women who give birth naturally, they will inevitably experience birth injuries, vaginal injuries from mid-term induced labor, and multiple deliveries. The elastic fibers in the vagina are completely broken.

3. Sexual life: After women reach 30 years old or have a sexual history of more than 3 years, the vagina will age and become loose due to long-term use and frequent stretching. The vagina will become loose and wide, the stimulation response will decrease, and the vaginal wall exudate will decrease, which can directly affect the quality of sex for both parties.

4. Surgical abortion and medical abortion: In the early stages of pregnancy, the muscles of the vagina and pelvis begin to relax. During surgical or medical abortion, the vagina expands and its elasticity decreases. Tissue that cannot be discharged after the operation remains in the vaginal folds and posterior fornix, stretching the inner wall of the vagina.
