Can non-invasive DNA high-risk pregnancy be achieved?

If you find that your test results are high-risk after a non-invasive DNA test, try not to give birth. This may cause some defects after birth, or difficult-to-cure congenital diseases. Therefore, after the diagnosis, try not to give birth. Otherwise, the baby may suffer from lifelong disabilities.

my country is a country with a high incidence of birth defects. Among the approximately 16 million newborns each year, children with congenital mental retardation and disability defects account for 4%-6% of the total number of births, with a total of 1.2 million, accounting for one-fifth of the more than 5 million children born with birth defects each year in the world.

The Chinese government pays about 8.2 billion yuan every year for the medical treatment and social relief of children with Down syndrome. Most of the children with birth defects who survive suffer from lifelong disabilities or intellectual disabilities and cannot be cured. This has placed a serious economic burden on society, and the psychological burden and mental suffering caused to their families cannot be measured in money. The clinical application of non-invasive DNA prenatal testing technology will make a great contribution to the prenatal detection of children with birth defects in my country.

After a woman becomes pregnant, the fetus gradually grows in the uterus. The uterus, which was originally the size of an inverted pear, becomes the size of a watermelon by full-term pregnancy. The volume of the uterus increases from 5 ml when not pregnant to 5000 ml at full-term. The weight of the uterus also increases from 50 grams when not pregnant to 1000 grams at full-term pregnancy.

As the uterus and fetus grow, the sleeping position of pregnant women becomes more and more important, especially in the late pregnancy, that is, 7 to 9 months of pregnancy. Poor sleeping position of pregnant women will not only affect the position of the uterus, but also increase the pressure of the pregnant uterus on surrounding tissues and organs, affecting the blood flow to the uterus and placenta.

The left side sleeping position for pregnant women can reduce the pressure of the enlarged pregnant uterus on the pregnant woman's aorta and iliac artery, maintain normal blood flow in the uterine artery, ensure blood supply to the placenta, and provide the fetus with the nutrients needed for growth and development. Lying on the left side can reduce the pressure of the pregnant uterus on the inferior vena cava and increase blood flow returning to the heart.

The increase in the amount of blood returning to the heart can increase the blood flow to the kidneys, improve the blood supply to the brain tissue, and help avoid and alleviate the occurrence of pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome.

The right side sleeping position for pregnant women will cause the uterus to rotate to the right to varying degrees. This will put the ligaments and mesentery that maintain the normal position of the uterus under tension. The blood vessels in the mesentery are stretched, affecting the blood supply to the fetus, causing chronic fetal hypoxia. In severe cases, it can also cause fetal suffocation and death.
