One bar for a delayed period of six days

One bar for a delayed period of six days

Some women who want a baby start to suspect they are pregnant when their menstruation is delayed for a few days. For example, some people's menstruation is delayed by 6 days, and after using the pregnancy test stick, they find that only one line appears, so they think they are not pregnant. In fact, she took the test a little too early. She should have waited 10 days after her period was delayed before taking the test again. Maybe she would have been pregnant. If she was sure that she was not pregnant, she would have needed to regulate this menstrual disorder.

1. What is delayed menstruation?

Frequent delayed menstruation refers to the extension of the menstrual cycle, with menstruation delayed by more than 7 days. It is not a one-time occurrence, but must occur for more than 2 consecutive cycles. It is considered ovulatory functional uterine bleeding. It is caused by a long follicular phase, slow egg development, or luteal insufficiency.

2. Reasons for delayed menstruation

1. Qi deficiency due to irregular diet, excessive fatigue, or excessive thinking can damage the spleen, resulting in spleen deficiency and weak qi, unstable Chong and Ren meridians, and inability to control menstrual blood, resulting in delayed menstruation.

2. Blood heat: if the body is naturally Yang-heat-excessive and one eats too much spicy Yang-boosting food, the heat may be hidden in the Chong and Ren meridians, forcing the blood to flow abnormally and causing delayed menstruation. This is caused by real heat.

3. It may be caused by pregnancy. You can do a self-test or go to the hospital for testing 10 days after your period is delayed.
