Synovial fluid is a colorless or light yellow, transparent viscous liquid secreted by the synovium of the joints. It can lubricate and nourish the joint cartilage, and its function is similar to the lubricating fluid in a car engine. Normal synovial fluid contains a large amount of water, hyaluronic acid, mucin and a small amount of cells, and will not self-condense into lumps. When the joints are diseased or certain systemic diseases occur, the synovial fluid increases and forms joint effusion, causing joint pain and discomfort.

Avoid excessive strain on the knee joints, avoid walking up stairs or climbing hills, and don’t carry any weight upstairs;

Control your weight. Being overweight will increase the pressure on the knee joint, increase the wear and tear of the bones and joints, and cause synovial inflammation.

Appropriate movement and exercise, especially joint movement, can increase the pressure in the joint cavity, which is beneficial for the penetration of synovial fluid into the surrounding soft tissue, thereby preventing and reducing joint effusion.

Tips1: Avoid excessive weight-bearing exercise.

Tips 2: Avoid falling or slipping. During training, family members should accompany you for protection and ensure that the ground is flat and dry to avoid accidents.

Tips 3: Training should be moderate to avoid excessive fatigue; at the same time, the appropriate training frequency should be mastered, try once a day or once every other day.

Tips 4: Wear knee pads to keep warm in winter. Avoid using air conditioning for a long time in summer. Wear long pants or cover your knees with a blanket to protect your knee joints.
